Bhagavad-gita: the highest intelligence
Krishna says in the Bhagvad Gita: “There is neither intellect nor bhavna (feeling for God) for the ayukta or the one who is not united, and to one devoid of bhavna , there is no peace. To the one without peace, how can there be happiness?” Krishna says, clearly, that unless a person is tuned into God he cannot have peace and without peace, he cannot be happy. Krishna also says that an un-united person does not have intellect.
* Bhagavadgita delivers that state of mind and helps an individual to achieve higher goals in life.
* Restraints or applications (yama and niyama), right physical exercises rooted in awareness and elegant comfort (the concept of asana), simple breathing regulations and exercises, healthful habits and lifestyle, inspiring company (satsang), well-suited pursuits, consciously being brisk and avoiding drag and drift, also giving expression to the calls of the spirit within — all these would go a long way to cleanse retarding forces and negative impressions within.
* Krishna states in the Bhagavad Gita a peace formula (5.29), "One who can recognize that God is the owner of everything, everything is meant to be done for God and God is everyone's best friend such a person can be peaceful."
